Walmart grocery products to offer free shampoo, conditioner and body wash products to shoppers starting June 1
Walmart is offering free shampoo and body scrub products to its customers starting June 15.
Walmart says the offer will help customers stay in shape and stay in control of their shopping.
The offer is available to consumers in the US and Canada, but the retailer has not yet announced when the offer is scheduled to launch.
“The company is continuing to invest in our customers, helping them understand how they can improve their shopping experience,” said Walmart in a statement.
While this offer isn’t limited to the US, it comes at a time when consumers are increasingly searching for a new way to get around and spend their money.
A number of companies have started offering free hair care products.
Amazon is offering a special “facial shampoo” for $2.99 to its Prime members, while Birchbox is offering “femme hygiene” products for $4.99 a month.
Google says its search engine index for “fashion, home, beauty and wellness” has more than doubled since the start of the year.
It also says its “fashion search” has increased from 9 million queries a month last year to nearly 12 million in 2018.
Apple has offered free haircuts for two years to users with an Apple ID.
