You don’t need a fancy fancy spa or fancy bottle of shampoo or a fancy new pair of high heels to create sparkle paper towel bar or sparkle pad.
Sparkle paper is a great way to add color to your towels, and it’s also a great place to use up leftover scraps from your laundry.1.
How do you make a sparkle bar?1.1 Sparkle Paper Towel Bar is a fun, simple, and easy way to create a beautiful sparkle.1:1 How to Make Sparkle Pad, Sparkle Bar, Sparkly TowelBar: 1 cup of white vinegar, 1/4 cup of baking soda, 1 tsp.
of salt, 1 tbsp.
of honey, and 1 tbsp of baking powder (optional)1 cup of sparkly white paper towels.
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and let sit for 30 seconds to an hour.
(Alternatively, you can leave the ingredients on for an hour and then rinse them with cold water.
I prefer to leave the paper towels on for 30 minutes, because that allows for easier drying.)1:2 Once the paper is completely dry, gently roll the towels in a ball.
Roll the ball about 2 inches across the towel and press it into the paper.2:3 Press the ball into the towel.
If you don’t have a big ball of paper towels, you might want to use your hands.1.:3 Press it into a clean towel and allow it to sit for a few minutes.
If the towel is damp, you will need to dry it a little.1/4 Cup of baking salt (optional: use 1 tsp.)1/2 Cup of boiling water (optional, but good for baking)1/3 Cup of honey (optional or to taste)1 Tbsp.
of baking spray (optional; I love this spray)1 tsp.
lemon juice (optional for a little kick)To make the pad, heat up a large pot of water in a medium saucepan.
Add in the vinegar and salt.
Stir well and cook for about 5 minutes, or until the vinegar has dissolved.
(I prefer to cook the vinegar at low heat for 10 minutes, so it’s a little hotter.)
If the water doesn’t come to a boil, add the boiling water and cook it for a couple of minutes longer.
Remove from heat.1:”2:4 Stir the baking soda and salt into the vinegar, and mix well.
Add the honey and baking powder and mix to combine.1 Tsp.
